Introduction to the Position
The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:
- As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes and ensuring optimal performance in all aspects of production.
- You will play a key role in driving continuous improvements in production efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a focus on food manufacturing, combined with exceptional problem-solving skills and leadership ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement processes and systems to increase production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of production engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food quality standards, and environmental requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in the production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with company goals and industry best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Manage the implementation of new technologies or processes to enhance production capabilities.

Experience and credentials:
Qualified candidates must have the following Credentials before applying for the Graduate Job Vacancy at Erisco Foods Limited :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production systems, machinery, and engineering processes.
- Experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
