Introduction to the Position
The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:
- Supervise and coordinate excavation, grading, compaction, and other earthworks activities.
- Ensure the proper handling, movement, and disposal of soil, rocks, and other materials.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of earthmoving equipment.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and construction teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct site inspections and address any operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and equipment logs.
Key Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of earthmoving equipment and soil mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of excavation, grading, and compaction operations.
- Experience with heavy equipment like bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
- Supervisory skills for managing teams, subcontractors, and ensuring safety standards.

Experience and credentials:
