Introduction to the Position
Job brief
- We are looking for a competent Clerical Officer to perform various administrative and clerical tasks in support to our office administrative running.
- You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and organized files, records, and documents.
- Inputting data into databases, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems.
- Answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling mail.
- Handling tasks like photocopying, scanning, and printing.
- Supporting line managers and colleagues, coordinating meetings, and managing appointments.
- Providing assistance to customers and colleagues, either directly or through phone or email.
- Utilizing various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events.
- Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages.
- Take minutes of meetings and dictations.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements and Skills
- Must possess BSc Degree / HND in relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position.
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
- A fast typist with knowledge in stenography and taking dictations
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and suits.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
