Introduction to the Position
The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:
- The Civil Engineer will oversee the design, planning, and execution of civil works for solar energy projects.
- They will ensure structural integrity, site suitability, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with other engineers to optimize project performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and supervise solar project installations and related civil works.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with COREN standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Manage contractors, site workers, and construction schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project plans.
- Work with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate solar systems efficiently.

Experience and credentials:
Qualified candidates must have the following Credentials before applying for the Job Opening at Kaplo Africa
- BSc in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- COREN certification is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of experience in civil construction or renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, or similar design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management experience.
Salary: N350,000 monthly and above.
