Introduction to the Position
Responsibilities
- Inspect building works and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor and report on quality control processes during construction.
- Advise on construction methods, materials, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections and produce detailed quality reports.
- Ensure all contractors and subcontractors meet quality assurance requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects to resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate the cost of materials, labor, and other resources to ensure cost control.
- Review and assess tenders, contracts, and change orders.
- Assist in resolving disputes and variations related to quality or specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with company policy.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Quality Surveyor in the building /construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 / Month.
