Job Description
- SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Analyst (NYSC Intern) to join our team.
- This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data gathering, cleaning, visualization, and reporting to support decision-making within the business.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in data-driven problem-solving within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various departments (operations, HR, finance, etc.)
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Work with stakeholders to identify business trends and generate actionable insights
- Support the preparation of periodic data reports and presentations
- Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methods, and processes
- Identify inconsistencies in data and recommend solutions for data quality improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that require data analysis
- Ensure data privacy and compliance in line with internal data protection guidelines

Experience and credentials:
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is an added advantage
- Good understanding of basic data analysis principles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
