Introduction to the Position
Job Description
- A Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of steam boilers and associated equipment.
- The role ensures continuous supply of steam or hot water for plant operations, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Boiler Systems: Start, operate, and shut down steam boilers and related equipment according to standard procedures.
- Monitor System Parameters: Check pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel levels regularly to maintain safe operations.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance such as blowdown, lubrication, and cleaning.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and report malfunctions; assist in or carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Safety & Record Keeping: Maintain operation logs and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and boiler regulations.

Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 1 year experience.
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
