Introduction to the Position

Description

  • As a Talent Acquisition Officer at Dangote Group, you will play a crucial role in driving our recruitment strategies and ensuring we attract the best talent to meet our growing business needs. 
  • You will collaborate with various departments to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and manage the entire recruitment process to build a talented workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking to source candidates.
  • Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation in the applicant tracking system.
  • Foster relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and other talent sources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Experience and credentials:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and methodologies.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
