Introduction to the Position

The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:

• Support the Manager to monitor the portfolio of advisory projects
• Support drafting project concept notes, diagnostics & scoping, and proposals summarizing research findings, strategic alignment, and potential impacts for internal review. Help prepare draft key documents such as PSRs, PCRs, and PCNs under the supervision of TTLs (collect indicators, and budget data…)
• Support client engagement by preparing briefs and background materials for meetings as needed (business development, annual meetings, etc.).
• Help develop presentations, organize workshops, or other tools to facilitate reform advisory interventions with clients. Support the hiring of resources, firm of consultants as needed, and help in the overall budget monitoring process.
• Develop tracking tools or dashboards to streamline portfolio monitoring in coordination with TTLs.
• Support the team to conduct sector-specific research to identify growth opportunities and risks within industries relevant to IFC’s portfolio, such as energy, agribusiness, and digital, in coordination with TTLs and the manager. Support the development of strategic notes in this area.
• Help identify potential regulatory or policy barriers to investment and develop recommendations to address them together with the regional CAE team.

Experience and credentials:

Qualified candidates must have the following Credentials before applying for the Graduate Job at IT Horizons Limited:

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other related courses or numerate disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• MSc will be an added Advantage
• Virtualization Certificate (VMware/Microsoft/Nutanix/RedHat), Storage Certificate (DellEMC/IBM/NETAPP), Server Certificate (DellEMC/IBM/HPE), Cloud Certificate (AWS/Azure/Oracle/Google), Backup Solution Certificate (CommVault/Veeam/Quest/IBM/DellEMC/Symantec/Veritas), Network Certificate (Cisco/Fortinet/Brocade), ITIL
• Good at organizing and multitasking and prioritize under pressure
• Able to explain technical problems in a simple term
• Work well with people and Willingness to travel
• In depth knowledge of the compute solution (server, storage, virtualization, cloud, backup, disaster recovery, converge/hyperconverge system, Microsoft solutions)
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization.
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.
• Proven hands-on experience on compute system projects
• VCP/MSCE/ITIL/NPP
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, compute system diagnostic and compute system analytics tools
