Job Brief
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Core Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company’s core infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security devices.
- Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company’s core infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies.
- Collaborate on projects to improve implementation and design.
- Assess current systems to ensure best practices and compliance.
- Manage the host environment, ensuring proper tuning and capacity.
- Share knowledge across the organization and contribute to company projects.
- Manage computer system security and inter-application information transfers.
- Demonstrate competency in infrastructure automation.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Core Infrastructure Engineer role.
- Extensive experience with IT infrastructure technologies, including firewalls, switches, virtualization, servers, storage, networking, security, and software development.
- Proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with Fortigate Firewalls, Supermicro Switches, and other relevant infrastructure tools.
