Introduction to the Position
Responsibilities
- Daily Transaction Management: Post daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
- Credit Limit Updates: Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer credit limits on Odoo.
- Product Pricing Management: Review and update product pricing on Odoo.
- Document Management: Handle data entry, sorting, and filing of customer invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, and other statutory documents as required.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in tracking and capturing VAT input for VAT returns and facilitate WHT filing.
- Reconciliation: Promptly reconcile administrative-related transactions.
- Liability Reporting: Generate and submit monthly reports on statutory obligations and vendor liabilities.
- Expense Monitoring: Assist in tracking, monitoring, and evaluating company expenses.
- Financial Accuracy: Update daily bills and financial records while cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements.
- Tax Filings: Complete company tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Experience and credentials:
Qualifications
- An HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Odoo.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial records and sensitive information.
- Ability to pay keen attention to detail and ensure accuracy.
- Adaptability to changing work priorities and a dynamic environment.
