Introduction to the Position
Job Description
- To oversee all store issuing activities, ensuring item availability in good condition and the accuracy of issuance records.
- Additionally, to supervise re-order, minimum, and maximum of stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requisitions to prevent stock-outs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in the preparation of daily store’s reports for all spares, packaging, raw materials, stationeries, tools, and lubricants
- Supervise and ensure that daily issuance of materials from the stores and Tarmac is closely monitored.
- Responsible for initiating stock replenishment request to purchasing to avoid stock out and follow up with the Purchasing department on pending requests made and not supplied.
- Responsible for the maintenance of material handling equipment i.e forklift in the stores.
- Take part in the monthly and annual stock taking and routine spot check.
- Monitor, supervise and ensure that all items in the store are arranged and labelled for proper identification.
- Supervise conveying of new and existing stock items to cataloguer for creation of Axapta item numbers.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
- OND in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, Accounting or any Social Science Course.
- At least 2 years’ experience in storekeeping.
The Person Must:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay great attention to details and be analytical.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking Skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Package.
