Introduction to the Position
The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:
- The Architect will be responsible for the design and development of building projects from concept to construction.
- This includes collaborating with clients, developing design concepts, preparing construction documents, and overseeing project execution.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, develop project briefs, and present design proposals.
- Develop schematic designs, including site analysis, space planning, and building form development.
- Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents using relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for bidding and construction.
- Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent and contract documents.
- Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and address construction-related issues.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
- Integrate sustainable design principles into projects.
- Stay up-to-date with current architectural trends, technologies, and materials.

Experience and credentials:
Qualified candidates must have the following Credentials before applying for the Graduate Job at Excel and Grace Consulting:
- Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant architectural software,likeRevit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent design sensibility and ability to develop creative and functional solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Architectural license is required.
