Job Description
- The Healthcare Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a healthcare facility, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develops and implements strategic plans to improve healthcare services.
- Staff Management: Supervises and manages healthcare staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Patient Care: Ensures high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Manages budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, laws, and standards.
- Quality Improvement: Implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Communication: Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborates with healthcare professionals, departments, and external partners.
- Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates risks to patient care and organizational operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitors and evaluates performance metrics to inform decision-making.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
- Education: Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / NCE / DIPLOMA1&2 / Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum experience: 2 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Certifications: Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) or Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations, laws, and standards.
Work Environment:
- Office Setting: Works in an office setting with moderate noise levels.
- Healthcare Facility: May work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and medical practices.
- Meetings and Travel: May require frequent meetings and travel to conferences, seminars, and other healthcare events.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting: Spends most of the workday sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
- Typing: Types on a computer keyboard for extended periods.
- Standing: May require occasional standing to meet with staff or attend meetings.
Salary
N180,000 – N350,000 / Month.
