Introduction to the Position
Job Summary
- The Sales Operations Officer is responsible for all sales operations-related activities. This role involves logistics planning and coordination to ensure timely and efficient lifting within stipulated laycans or evacuation period.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Logistics Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize efficient liftings
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule and coordinate vessel logistics to ensure timely loadings
- Loading permits Management: Facilitate approvals and clearance processes, liaising with relevant stakeholders to secure necessary authorizations.
- Operational issues Resolution: Act as the first line of resolution for all on-site issues, addressing and resolving operational challenges promptly.
- Operational Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact with vessel owners, agents, EPS and Marine teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
- Sampling & Inspections Liaison: Coordinate sampling and inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operations Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operations, including inventory status and logistics activities.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations or logistics, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of refinery /depot operations, loading systems, and inventory management.
- Proven experience in coordinating logistics and managing on-site operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
