Introduction to the Position
The ideal candidate should read the following carefully before applying:
Purpose
- To drive Operational Excellence within the Plant/Mills by ensuring equipment/machines are optimally utilized while improving Quality, Safety and the bottom line.
The Job
- Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Collect and Analyse performance metrics data.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis within Plant/Mill.
- Transfer OpEx competencies to Mill leadership and team members.
- Ensure Process Improvement activities are sustained, and standards are adhered.
- Drive Daily Operational Reviews with the support of the Mill leadership team.
- Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for East & West Mills.
- Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for Head house.

Experience and credentials:

Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Science related course or Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
The Person Must:
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have solid knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
