Introduction to the Position
Job Summary
As our Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for goods and services required by the organization.
This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, inventory control, and cost optimization.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in managing a team within a procurement or supply chain environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct market survey from time to time to ensure the company gets the best prices for goods and services.
Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing. Process purchase orders and ensure appropriate approvals before goods are purchased.
Ensure high quality of goods purchased and received.
Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.

Experience and credentials:
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / H.N.D in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
Minimum of 4- 5 years of experience in procurement in the healthcare and Manufacturing Industry.
Professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Management (CIPS) or any other relevant professional body is an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
