Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support day-to-day laboratory operations in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate data recording.
- You must be organized, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and analyze samples following standard procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Record and interpret test data accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals and samples
- Calibrate lab equipment and document performance logs
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the lab
- Support senior technicians or scientists as needed
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and submit daily or weekly reports

Experience and credentials:
Qualified candidates must have the following Credentials before applying for the Graduate Job at Ascentech Services Limited :
Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc in Science Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience
- Familiarity with lab safety and quality control protocols
- Good knowledge of laboratory instruments and diagnostic tools
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel) for reporting
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous lab experience in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or food/agriculture is an advantage
- Resident in Abeokuta or willing to relocate.
Remuneration
- Negotiable and competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
